well stunning now- as I have a lump on my head, some on my forehead - one under my forearm and one on the outer calf of my left leg.

Fantastic range there then!

together with the super high inflammation results this is something really special- they have even named it Weber Christian disease to go with all the other things. Inflammation of the fat cells!!!! Honestly. You have to laugh.

I must be winning on the RA effects my (fill in the blank) list completion soon surely?!

Jenni xx

PS Anyone else "got lumps?"

Hi Jenni

Well what a bummer for you! Inflammation of the fat cells?? I haven't heard of that before! You've got to be kidding ... except I know of course that you're not. Sorry to hear that the problems continue without any let up.

I get occasional lumps and bumps that appear without rhyme or reason but they always disappear in the same way they arrived. So far no-one has been able to explain them except to say it's likely to be part of the RA and general immune problems. As none have actually stayed the course I don't worry but I do wonder sometimes how much is blamed on the RA that might be down to something entirely different.

Is there anything anyone can do to get rid of the lumps? Or are you stuck with them?

Take care Jenni,

Lyn x

Oh Jenni - this is awful. I know you joke about it, but it must be annoying, frustrating and upsetting. Is there any "treatment" for Webster-whatsit or is it just a case of wait and see? Maybe the causes of the appalling blood results are to blame? Sorry hon
Love you

Poor you - Is there any end to this catalogue of problems? I'm sorry I can't be of more help, just to say I do feel for you and all you and your family are going through.

Very interesting Jenni, though sorry you have yet another thing to contend with.

l too have 2 lumps on my forehead that have been there for a while, GP mused on the idea that it was an RA thing but no reason given.

I have a feeling that they are not Fatty tissue in origin, only because they are rock hard, may show them to the rheumy when l next go.

Also lumps on the inside of both wrists that when l showed the GP he just shrugged!!

Is there no end to the things we get as add ons from our beastly RA?!!
